Efficiency Hours are designed to help physicians and APPs be more effective and efficient using Epic to take great care of their patients. The tips and tricks we review are focused on tools that are generally available to any physician or APP using Epic, and the sessions are free to attend. We are currently offering four topics focused on outpatient workflows and TWO inpatient workflow focused topics. We have an active Q&A session open with Epic experts along with the sessions.
In addition, this year we are doing a "Just the FAQs, doctor" session which will be showing the FAQs we typically receive as well as answering questions from Q&A live as timer permits. This specific session won't be eligible for CME credits.
Each regular topic will be offered multiple times to provide flexibility. When appropriate, those providers attending live can earn up to 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 credit and 0.1 CEUs from UPCEA through the University of Wisconsin (also free). If you aren’t already registered with UW-Madison, you can create your account by going to ce.icep.wisc.edu. We will send more information out about obtaining CME credits a couple days before the session.
If you’re a physician builder or power user, you’re still welcome to join us even if you are already an expert at efficiently using Epic… but what we really hope you can do is invite your colleagues and help them get signed up!
We look forward to seeing and chatting with you on one or several of these upcoming webinars and tell your colleagues!
This upcoming series, we are also offering ALL FOUR outpatient focused sessions on ONE DAY (MONDAY June 5).
